I fly a heli but have wanted a fixed wing too for a long time. I had a couple of control wire planes when I was a kid. I've deceided on a Easy Star electric assist glider. I've looked into a starter a lot, and this just seems to foot the bill. Inexpensive, strong, durable, well designed, good motor and battery, simple, not too fast and flight time can be extended by good use of the thermals. Watching the U-Tube videos of them and using the one on my Aerofly Sim, I have just fallen in love with the idea of a lazy, sunny afternoon at Rebecca Spit Park, catching the thermals and soaring with the Eagles that live here. I can see a micro cam in the future too maybe..LOL I can't wait!!!!!
