I have no problem hearing the race director at any of our races that is why they have a speaker on the driver stand. What they remind me of is when I raced slot cars. LOL
I was teasing. Yes, it is differet. LIPO sacks and foam lined battery cases, instead of gallons (and gallons and gallons) of liquid fuel being transported and stored all over the place (like in young kid's or teenager's bedrooms, closets, or basements).

AND, I like the quiet and fresh air. Well OK, these rigs stir up A LOT of dust with all that power. Yes, personal preference. I also like the superior power aspect.
