He, and others who are working with him have put a ton of work into the "total systems" needed to develope this new class within the sport. There are tons of details to be worked out, beyond the motor and battery mounts, ESC being just the start, a BEC and extra cooling, as well as the extra powerful motors themselves.
Whilst we used a Feigao 540XL motor for our Phase I test platform (Jammin X1CR), the NEU motors are thought to be the best value for the money. We intend to upgrade as soon as we can, more info here:
