Glad to hear you are building an Insight!
When building the fuse, you will want to keep the fusebox flat and straight on the worktable. When this box is built and sheeted on top and bottom, you can carefully glue in the stab (please see post #34 on page 2 of this thread). Set the stab at -0.5° incidence.
For the wing, it is really important to have a set of adjusters to fine tune the wing position. The wing incidence on my Insight was +0.75° .
In post #49 and #50, you can see the process I used to insert a wing tube sleeve through the fuselage. The wing cores were carefully drilled (home made jig) with a sharpened aluminum 7/8" wing tube. The very first Insight had built up wings which had oversize wing tube holes in each rib. A balsa donut was made to fit tight on the wing tube sleeve at each rib location. The wings were setup straight and level with the fuse, wing tube, and socket, then these balsa donuts were glued in place (see attached image).
