Separate rx battery or one battery connected to the rx? Also, its probable your battery doesnt read higher then 5.4v, at least from the servo's prespective, or your particular 791 has a slightly higher tolerance. All I know is that there is an issue with futaba rx's and the 791's with voltage regulation. May not happen in every single case.
