If you get the tt01d, you shouldn't need any upgrades...and there's only so much you can upgrade on it. I think you'll need to lock the diff, but once you start putting money into upgrades, you're better off buying a better chassis. That's why I would suggest getting something better from start. But, I'm sure someone will post an upgrade list. As many TT01's as there are running around here...
