I would trim the canopy to match the curvature of the foredeck.

The easiest way to do this is to first protect the inside of canopy from any scratches using a low tack masking tape then wrap and tack a piece of sand paper to the foredeck and Sand the curve to match by sliding the canopy back and forth. You will be able to get an exact fit with very little time or effort.

I have used this method for many years and have not found anything that is easier.
