RE: need to find a wind sock
Here's mine at my airstrip. I originally had one from Airport Windsocks, but it was too stiff to be very effective and it faded to white in just one year. I eventually replaced it with one that I bought from some vendor at Joe Nall. I wished I could remember that guy as he sold good stuff. This sock is two years old, flies perfectly in the lightest breeze and has not faded.
