Default RE: Nitro onroad or Electric on road?

I have electric cars and I like them for a few reasons.

One, I can mix and match armatures, cans, endbells and types of brushes. Fun for me and hybrid/mutant motors rock! Can't do that with nitro. If I got two or three different engines at 250 a pop or more, that's getting close to a grand right there.

Two, I have lipos, but the last time I bought a lipo was over a year ago and it cost me about 100 bucks. they're still going strong. I'd say I got my money's worth. Charger? 90 bucks. bout the same price as two gallons of Nitro fuel.

three: I can get a brushless motor whenever I feel the need to. I get the right one and I get INSANE power. plus the brushless ESC's out now give some very nice flexibility in terms of tuning.

I looked at the initial investment plus running costs over time and decided electric was the best bet. That and I like indoor carpet racing.
