Thanks mjfrederick, I couldn't find the thread you referred to. I don't think the engine was hot, I run it quite rich and I could hold a finger on the motor comfortably when it landed.

Papaone, what type of Loctite did you use and how did you ensure the brass fitting seated correctly when you reinserted it?
