I have been following this thread for some time as I am in the process of building the ARC version. I have included many of the tips and inputs from various contributors. Thanks!!! it has been invaluable. I am at a point in my build where I need to come out of the shadows to request some specific help. I am building the ARC version and have the Aerotech sliding canopy kit and am looking for help in pulling this off. I have seen lots of build threads on sliding canopies, but not much on the Aerotech sliding canopy and the TF ARC/ARF. The canopy is not an exact fit and the fuse will have to be modified. I have already started this, but this is uncharted teritory for me so getting specific insight from someone who has been there for this combination would be helpful. The other help that I an looking for is hints on how to mount/configure the air piston to actuate the sliding canopy. I would have a lot more options if it were a kit build or if the Aerotech sliding canoy was actually made for the TF ARC. The folks at Aerotech have said that they know that quite a few folks have used their sliding canopy with the TF ARF/ARC, but have not been able to provide any specific "how to" details. Any help would be appreciated, and build pictures would be awesome!
