My FG shocks SUCK!

Yeh, out of the box, the FG shocks, especially on monster models, seem to have some issues. The worst of these seems to be that the plastic shock pistons are not very well finished (flash plastic) and the oil in the shocks is far too heavy (2000 european weight silicone).
