Blitzkrieg gave you some good advice.Just wanted to let you know you can buy a ready made working tank,=Forward,reverse,left and right steering,moving turret,rechargeable battery,charger,and it's own transmitter.The tank is 11 inches long,and about 5 inches wide.You get all this for $22.00 dollars (or less) plus about 12 to 14 dollars shipping.Or you can buy a smoke and sound heng long 1/16 scale tank with a gun for about $62.00 dollars plus shipping,with all the typical tank functions.To start from scratch and to try to use a airplane type radio and build a tank,is not as easy as it sounds.It is far more practical to buy a working one and change it to suit your needs.Just some free advice and my opinion.
