OK, so IF the AMA says the insurance would still be in effect if a PPP flies a plane that is outside the prescribed limit,
Still in effect yes, the clubs charter insurance. That's the same insurance which covers ATV riders. However AMA card member insurance could be voided whether $58 member flying while drunks or a $29 member flying a >2lb model airplane. This is why trying to fly a jet on a PPP ticket will be worth as much as an ice cube to an eskimo.
So what? Any responsible person carries their own insurance anyway, so if everyone can get by on the PPP rate (i.e landowner still covered) why not do it!!!!!
