Sorry but I dont have a digi camera yet. The first time it did this the start pin spring collapsed so I replaced both the pin and its spring. I havent taken it apart yet to determine the damage this time but its got the same feel as the spring-pin failure did. The pin never sheared at all the spring just collapsed. I'll talk it apart soon and see what I can find again. I do gently take the slack out of the pull start before I give it a go too.
