Hi Mike, What plug are you using? The recommended glow plug for the TJT-3000 is a Rossi #5 plug, the suggested setting is 17-25 on our FADEC ECU. You can still use other plugs successfully, although for best results we have found longer plug life results using the Rossi #5.
Before plug installation in your turbine, I find preheating the plug element via glow heat first can also help temper the element, this also makes the plug element less likely to brake while removing/adjusting plug coils into exposed position. I use a tooth pick to adjust/pry plug coils...
