I have/had the Red Fusuno Airwolf fuselage, but crashed it the other day.
It has a tail authority problem, where it couldn't overcome the main rotor torque.
I suspect it had to do with the vertical stabilizer being too close to the tail rotor.
Whenever I would give more collective, the tail would pull to the right.
I tried different head speeds.
I tried different gyros, Futaba 401/9257 and JR G7703D/3400G.
The Airwolf always wants to balloon up during FFF, so you're always having to compensate that and the tail wanting to pull right.
I found it challenging to fly, compared to the Hughes 500d and Jet Ranger fuselage.
I was doing FFF, the nose ballooned up and the tail swung around, when tried to correct it, I got a bit out of control and went inverted at one point,.
I got it right side up, was fighting to get it back into stable flight but got too low and crashed it.
When I had the Align EC-135, I crashed it too because of lack of tail authority.
I'm going to get the Blue HeliArtist Airwolf, and report back on how it flies.
