Default RE: Tiger 60 servo extensions and Y harness

If your radio transmitter will support it (5 channel or more) you would be happer and have more control over the plane's trim if you use individual servo leads rather than a "y", plus you can make the Tiger do a lot of cool aerobatic stuf like "crowing", spoilers, etc. While you should always try to mechanically get your trim as close as possable, individual servo adjustment makes it quick and easy to fine tune. BTW I have had 2 tiger 60's... one a taildragger with an OS 91 surpass II and one with trike gear and a MVVS .61 piped 2-stroke and they were some of my favorite airframes ever! But to answer your question, the length will be fine. One other hint... I put a piece of ply diaginally across the fusalage directly under the wing shoulder mounts, with 2 holes drilled in it with the same spacing, etc. as the dowells in the wing. Then I could plug the wing in them while I connected the servo leads with both hands.
PM me if you have any questions...I don't hold myself out as an expert but I am familar with that plane.
Mike
