For the remote start, I have installed them back in the fuse above the wing and they work good there. I wouldn't put it on the cowl. For the Dubro fuel fill, keep an eye on the operation of it. They tend to leak over time and draw in fuel causing deadsticks. You can get rebuild kits for them that consist of some new orings and other little parts and they rebuild kits are fairly cheap.
