I use 2, 8" extensions to my wing servos and 2, 6" extensions from my reciever. Plenty of room for plug in.
I also set the plane up and do all my Adjustments and while dissasembling the plane the first time
I use some white paint on 1 of the connectors so I know which extension goes where.

Missleman, The length from the servo wire hole to the servo opening is only 5", with a 21" Y harness he
could fish the harness through the servo wire holes in the wing and out of the servo opening, plug everything
together and leave all the excess wire in the wing. I agree with you and would add a small extension from the RX
so you don't have to keep plugging directly to the RX everytime.
