Mine is more than likely a 2.5, but if it ever stops working I will know why. Thanks for the tip!
Could be, but 2.5 is not standard. Glad I could shed some light on things. I have mine attached using a small socket so that I can apply an appropriate load to any type of battery by changing out the resistor value.
