I tried starting the engine real line (1 1/2 turns) from closed and it started. I did not try running it out with glow heat on. I did notice while engine was running with glow heat, and i adjusted the screw on carb, it did not seem to make much difference in idle speed.
I did try my friends fuel today which was 10% brand new, and definatly no contamination, did not run any better.
