Just signed up and would like to ask some qustions that hopfully some of you pro guys can answer for me. Currently I have an 8ight RTR buggy and I am looking at some upgrade parts. First off clutch bearings: Amain only sells the Losi set of in/out or (front/back) and then packs of 10 5X13X4 rubber or metal shieled bearings. Are the 5X13X4 the in/front or the out/back bearings? And depending on which they are is there anyone that sells the others in large cheaper packs? Also is the metal shield beter for clutches because of the heat, or rubber for maintinance for reusing them? My 8ight is 99% used for just bashing so I'm trying to make it as bullet proof as possible, are carbon fiber brakes just for bling or beter then the glass fiber? Going with the bullet proof theme I've already planned if not ordered some random Alum. peices like shock towers and shock caps. Anything else that should be on the top of the list without spending a racers budget? Like the Alum. front spindles, worth $40, or just get 4 sets of plastic spares for the same price? I already killed the throttle servo so thats not a concern as well I have the GMK CVD condoms, no worry about pins now. Thanks for reading all of this.
