A member of my club bought and built a VQ P-38. The first flight lasted 58 seconds. The airplane got slow in a turn, snapped, and spun in. The full scale P-38 was always prone to snapping at low speed (killed the number two American ace by snapping at low altitude) and the scale wing tips aren't going to make the situation any better.
