Reduction drive for 50cc to 85cc singles
Does anyone have experience with Prop reduction drives in this engine range. I have seen several designs out there and I'm not too impressed. Numerous design flaws include: blocked airflow around the head, positioning the output shaft so far away from the original's position that installation becomes impossible for all but a few applications, and overly heavy (more than doubling the weight of the engine alone). I know a lot of these look great at first sight, yet after carefully scrutiny they don't pass the common sense test. The best one that I have seen is the English chap's version that bolts on to the G62. Has anybody seen one for the DA50, 3W55, 3W75 or DA85. [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
