THANK YOU SIR! This is absolutely correct. Rick is the man and has been modding engines since the early 80's when these newer modders were in diapers. LOL.

Yes Rick coats the crankshafts with that black coating for rust prevention but I bet that 7 out of 10 ppl would get rust anyways because of either improper ARO or none at all.
