I think the railroad is the SF&WB express. (soggy feet & wet Butt) from its location. A good way to make a map is to take a real one, photograph it and cut it down to 1;16 on your color printer, or photograph it again. . Verlinden makes really nice maps. Even the 1;35 would look good and represent a smaller scale map.
or if you can get you hands on am acual topographic map, scan it, scale it and print it out. I am a topographic engineer and its not hard to do. hmmmmm. maybe i can make a side business of acually making maps for scale models.. thinking thinking..... muhahahahaha... lol.. sorry, have not have my coffie yet.. :P
