Default RE: Hobby Warehouse

If it is the Hobby Warehouse in Richfield MN, BUYER BEWARE! They have an unsatisfactory record with the better business bureau. They will sell you anything, but if you need to make a return for any reason look out, a whopping restocking fee will be deducted from your return. For example: Say you purchase a $500.00 item, take it home and find out it will not do what you were told it could do. Now you return to the store with the item and try to return it. Even if it has never been out of the package a $50.00 restocking fee is charged to you. When companies charge a restocking fee you know they are hurting for cash and will stoop very low to get it. You are far better off using mail order. Why? For starters No Sales Tax. And a number of mail order companies offer free shipping. Thats a 32.50 savings right there. No fees charged for returns if needed.

Good luck dealing with this outfit.
