Hi m8 welcome to the drift forums as for the car most Tourers can drift its better to get a 4wd chassis if you can,the most important parts for drifting are the tyres use proper drfit tyres or ABS/PVC tubing as long as you motor has enough power (electric 19-23 turns is good) you shouldnt have a problem getting started.
Many will say nitros no good for drifting but you should run what you feel comfortable with,as nitro takes more setup and tuning i think that puts a lot of people off drifting with nitros
