There are several threads on this in this section. Just search for "conversion," which is how I found all the info I know.

In a nutshell, after you spend the money for the conversion and get it put together and working, you will end up with something that is much simpler to operate - essentially just plug in and go. If you like that sort of thing, then go for it.

However, pretty much everything else about it is subjective - whether you like the way electrics drive, whether you like the simplicity of operating them, etc etc. I personally like the powerband of nitro engines vs electric engines, and I personally like the "realistic" complexity of nitros vs the (IMO) "toy-like" simplicity of electrics.
