Mike I think you made the right decision on changing the wing mounting to this system. The old designed looked good on paper but I wasn't sure it was going to work out because of the complexity. You said you were at 5 lbs. 8 ozs, refresh our memories and confirm what motor, esc, and battery combination you were planing to use. You might check into Flight power for your batteries I have recently purchased their batteries and the cells are well matched and the price is very reasonable. My local shop is carrying them now.
