SH is just the brand. Golden Lion actually makes Sh engines along with tons of other brands. Sh is just the flagship for Golden Lion. Not all Sh engines are the same but they all have the same quality. The things that may vary is ports, head, carb and con rod. They are very solid engines. Not sure where you got Sh for the savage. The savage comes with an HPI engine that Sh has nothing to do with.
