Got it!

Okay I set her up like this:

DMD Rudd to Rx Aileron
DMD Thrott to Rx Elevator
DMD M Gun to Rx Throttle
DMD Turr to Rx Rudder

Then I checked the RC equipment as per the Tamiya book.

Set sub trim on the throttle to +40:

Main Gun fires throwing stick fwd.

Set the trim for the THROTTLE from the main screen all the way down:

Machine gun fires moving stick fully down.
