The car will be heavy, and when you bend or break the aluminum it will cost several times more to replace them. Also, the force of the impact has to go somewhere, a good aluminum can just break whateve connects it to the car. Some aftermarket aluminum is inferior crap and no better than good plastics.
Your best bet is to stop hitting things and going off of big jumps. If it is the car and not the driver, I would suggest spending that money on a more solid car.(let all the redcat fans jump out of the bushes and protect their beloved cars [sm=cry_smile.gif])
