RE: Severe Hitec HS-81 servo chatter
I appreciate the speedy reply Mike. Thanks! I just tried the Eclipse 7 against a different Rx and different (generic micro) servos. No problems. The other servos ran smooth as silk with the Tx so I believe it's safe to say that there is nothing wrong with it. Now this cooks me noodle- just for funzies I hooked the other servos up to the HPD-07RH. Channels 5 and 7 jumped from neutral to about 50% and stayed there as soon as the power was turned on but there was no chatter and the servos otherwise ran smoothly on all channels. I went into the program and checked all the of subtrim settings. Nothing there to cause the jump. All of the servos were centered before hooking them up to the Rx. To further confuse things I reconnected the HS-81's to the HPD-07RH and the same thing happened only channels 5 and 7 did not respond to the stick and there was lots of chatter on all channels except 3. The two HS-81's connected to channels 5 and 7 no longer work at all. Where do we go from here?
