Quick question... I'm thinking of cutting the wood ring for the cowl and just trimming the fiberglass to accommodate the muffler on the Saito? I don't think it would hurt it that much, and maybe add a little added air flow. It looks like I would need to cut about 2 1/2" off the back side to get around the muffler. I really wish there were more options for fitting mufflers or extensions. I tried the "flexible tube" on my Spacewalker / saito 120 and it sounded aweful! (65 Impala with exhaust leak and missing muffler)
