if you have an 18v cordless then by all means use it but if you don't, i would suggest looking into alternative "roto start" systems. the cordless drills are hella expensive!

Duratrax uses the same "roto starter" design as HPI but there's is only like 20 bucks. i was lucky to see it before i decided on the HPI roto starter which is like 40 bucks.
