You have to watch which crystal you are using in your reveiver. Most receivers will not work unless you use the right brand of crystal. You can't take just any crystal and plug it in. There are hobby outlets in the UK that sell JR and Futaba and I would check with them for a new radio. Running 35MHz is for Europe, we don't run that freq here in the states, so if you are buying from here, make sure it is the right freq for you to use there. Any receiver will work with any transmitter on the same freq and long as it is FM and the right shift. JR is pos shift and Futaba is neg shift. Some will do either. You cannot interchange PCM brands, so if you get a JR system, you MUST use JR for PCM. FM is not a problem, just make a change in the transmitter to FM and your all set, provided you have the right channel crystal in the receiver.
