RE: Using the same TX on differnt planes
De Bong,
Sounds as though your'e reasonably commited to the hobby and may be time to get a decent Tx and RX's, Art-Tech's electrics are pretty widely considered NOT the best and certainly I bought their Mustang and the glitching TX cost me a plane re-build once so I changed and just isn't worth the risk.
Maybe look at a Spektrum DX6i which comes with one RX and then just buy a second - alternatively have a look through E-Bay, I bought a second hand never used Multplex Cockpit SX which I'm still using, I may be interested in selling it with 3 good quality receivers if you've any interest as probably going to the DX7, if so buzz me a PM.
Just one bit of advice though what's it worth not to loose a plane due to cheap electrics with both the cost to replace and time out, the extra you'd spend on quality TX and RX is probably less !!!!!!!!!!!!!
