Default Spinner problems

Hi all;
I'm having trouble with the Tru-Turn spinner on my Fuji 32EI.

In order to get the spinner to work, I had to order a special bolt from Tower that is tapped in the end to accept the Tru Turn spinner bolt. This special bolt has a 10mm shoulder that is longer than the thickness of my prop hub, (Top Flite 18 X 8, wood). Even with the washer that goes under the bolt, the shoulder still protrudes beyond the hub. Also, the washer supplied with the engine does not have a 10mm hole to fit this special bolt and I guess I'll have to drill it out. If I do that and this whole thing doesn't work, the original washer will have much too large a hole for the original bolt.

Can I use more than one washer under the special bolt to suck the shoulder up into the prop hub? If so, where can I get washers with a 10mm hole or do I go to the hardware store and make my own from what they have?

I hate to trash the Tru-Turn, but maybe the simplest thing is to just buy a GP plastic spinner that doesn't require special adapter bolts. (BTW, this bolt cost $34!!!).

Thanks all!
