Just by the way you describe the second new battery acting in the same manner would lead me to believe its down to the charger as you have proved its not the power source

I have had 2 eflite chqargers now fail on me but not a cp charger these were off B400 and cx2 but both failed within a month, but touch wood the new ones have been working fine
