Default RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

Link Just cut the hinges and put new ones in above or below the old ones, I think at one point my whole rudder was one big glued Slot I did it so many times, it worked and is still ready to go on another bird if so needed. I usually just buy a few boxes of 3/4 CA hinges from GP to have around and for other flyers who might need them at the field.

And for the tail wheel you can just replace the whole bottom leading edge of the rudder and glue in a new one then support it with a couple of pieces of balsa ply, framing the outside edges and epoxy it. this will take minutes to do and really add some strength to the lower rudder.

You will Love the OS 70

T_ _ _Ted LOL at $25.00 per.... I wouldn't have made it through the 70's, [] And have a great day of flying,, get some footage of those maidens... there is already talk of people going out to our field,, I'm thinking within the next 2 weekends we won't be able to hold back anymore and we'll be out there. Yippeeeeeeeeeeee

Kassun I don't really know what percent to use them at, I have my Flaperons on a dial and I set it so they can go full down If I need them too, I barely use it all, but I've dialed in a bunch of different settings and tried them,, so I think they all work pretty good, but its really not needed at all, I mostly use it just for something fun to play with.

Buckskin I hear ya, I get 4 days a month, unless there are 5 Saturdays in one of those months and I get a few shots during the week when I can't handle it anymore but I just fly an electric around my property, once in a great while I'll take the T_ _ _ T up too. not a choice place to fly but works great in a pinch.

Sonnytex good luck and that should be an awesome combo
