Default Painting with latex house paint

Hi All, I know that lot's of us use latex house paint these days to paint our warbirds. I would like to solicit your opinions as to what clear coat / fixative you guy's use, if any? I love the ease of working with latex, and I really like the look it gives. My only dislike, if you want to call it that is it's wearability...in other words, it tends to scratch off and peel off more easily than auto paints and the like. Unfortunately, the way it can peel doesn't lend itself to making the airplane look authentically weathered :-( So, to ask my question again...what clear coat, if any, do you all prefer when you paint with latex???
Inquiring minds want to know...and so do I.
Happy flying,
