Neo, thank you for a comparative analysis.. I suspect that it is seldom that a gas soaked rag is applied to a latex painted plane but.. Its instructive to see what a concentration of gas will do to the latex.. I talked to Nelson about his clear and about putting it over Chevron's Perfect paints. He said it was not a problem. I plan on using the satin finish as you did for my P-47. Thanks again.. BobH
