Default Painting with latex house paint

Neo:

I glad I am not the only one who has had gas affect latex. Last summer when I posted about the problems I had with latex and gas everyone said that they had not had the same problems. Since then, I have tried different brands of latex with the same results. I found the only way to keep gas from effecting the latex was to use the Nelson clear coat.

Just a side note about Nelson clear and artist chalk. It works great with black but do not use a lighter color chalk. The clear coat will turn the light colors of artist chalk dark. I just finished a Tucano and used lighter gray artist chalk to make the paint look faded. Once I sprayed the clear over it the light gray turned very dark.
