Default RE: best buggie

I see you live in Oklahoma city it's a pretty big place go to the local shop's see what they carry parts for, maybe go the place you plan on racing see what the local hot shoes are running cause down the road you will need some help (they won't all help but atleast one will) The thing about the shop's is anyone can order online but at some point you will want to be able to walk in shop and buy parts. There is 5 buggy's you probably couldn't go wrong with (Losi 8ight roller or kit, Associated RC8 roller, Mugen MBX5R kit, Kyosho 777 wc kit, Xray 808) I won't get into the good and bad of all these but Ive seen all these win. You need a good .21 like a (ie:OS Speed Tuned V-Spec) Steering servo with at least 200oz. torque(ie:JR9100T) Throttle servo at least 100oz. and fast under .10 sec.(ie:JR9000s) a 2.4GHZ Radio (Spektrum,Futuba,Airtronics all offer them) and a starter box , with a set of tires and a few parts about 2000$. Not to mention Personal Transponer, Reciever pack If you look around and narrow down to 2 or maybe 3 and read the threads on this site and you will figure it out. If you figure out that is to much money and want to RTR, Losi 8ight RTR, Associated RC8RS, and Sportwerks Turmoil RTR are good choices and will be relatively competative out of the box.
