TimC.......I like the extra reinforcement on the bottom.......for those of you that haven't re-covered your T_ _ _ T.....that bottom "skin" is only 1/16"......even the Sullivan tailwheel, with it's four mounting holes, won't last long on grass fields. (They didn't for me, anyway. I had finally used long screws and then sprayed expanding foam inside to "grab" them....but TimC's way looks stronger and faster!) The scratch-built T_ _ _ T will have a solid piece of balsa or at least a piece of 1/4" ply to reinforce the tailwheel.
