Proctor sold the Enya VT240 for $599.00 in 1990, what's that in today's dollars? Factor in inflation and if you can get one NIB for less than $850.00 you're still doing good. I have seen them go for $525.00 in flawless NIB condition. You need to be patient and lucky.
Price was one reason you didn't see many of them flying but many were sold. Today the people that have them tend to horde them.
Why don't you see many Laser 240's? Not many people know they are available and I never saw an ad for the Enya only one review in 1988? The Laser valve layout and head design is almost the same as the Laser. Laser changed the angle and made the engine wider and smoother running?
