fwiw, mikado logo flybars are made of very malleable stainless steel 3mm rod...in a crash or blade strike, the paddles fly forward after the sudden stoppage, and the flybar corkscrews...usually, hand-straightening is all that's needed...centrifugal force takes care of the rest...ken
