How'd you see that?????? Been a more or less full time cycle commuter for 15 years now. Yeah, I got spandex....

Krener, trimming the tips isn't a biggie. No harm no foul but you want to be sure to balance it after. And obviously to smoothen the cuts down nicely. Messin' with the hub is another story. I've done it but only on my oversized props used on the 1/2A Texaco engines where I know the revs are way down from the loading.
